We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and quality assurance processes. This role is critical in preventing defects from reaching production, maintaining high user satisfaction, and upholding our reputation for delivering exceptional software experiences. As a QA Engineer, you will work closely with development teams to identify potential issues early in the development cycle, design and execute test plans, design and implement automated testing frameworks, and contribute to our continuous improvement culture. Your expertise will directly impact product quality and help us deliver software that meets the highest standards of functionality, performance, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for web applications, API’s, and data interoperability platforms
- Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple products
- Design, create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools
- Identify, document, and track software defects through their entire lifecycle, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and establish quality criteria for new features
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide quality insights during sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software testing
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on manual and automated testing experience
- Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Jest, or similar automation technologies
- Knowledge of microservices testing tools such as Postman, etc.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira) and test case management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to think from an end-user perspective
- Previous experience in the medical industry is helpful, but not required.
- QA certifications (ISTQB, CSQA, CSTE, CQA) helpful, but not required.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards (X12, EDI) helpful, but not required.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Loadrunner) helpful, but not required.
