About the role


As a Project Manager at Orderful, you will play a critical role in driving customer onboarding and project success, working closely with the Onboarding Architect and Account Manager to ensure seamless customer adoption. You will own the project management process for customer onboarding, coordinating resources, tracking milestones, and ensuring customers efficiently integrate with Orderful’s platform. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous process improvement, helping to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.


This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, customer-focused, and technically inclined, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and improve processes.



What you'll do

Key Responsibilities


Customer Onboarding & Project Management

  • Own and drive customer onboarding projects for our large enterprise customers, ensuring they progress through each phase successfully
  • Engage effectively with multiple customer stakeholders on both technical and business topics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding timelines, deliverables, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with the Onboarding Architect to align customer needs with Orderful’s integration process
  • Develop and maintain scalable project plans that ensure consistency in onboarding
  • Track and report customer onboarding milestones, identifying roadblocks and proactively resolving issues
  • Work cross-functionally with customer success, engineering, and product teams to drive resolutions for customers
  • Monitor and refine onboarding KPIs to drive efficiency and reduce time to value for customers


Process Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Develop and standardize enterprise implementation frameworks, ensuring consistency and scalability across large-scale customer engagements
  • Assist with the implementation and set up of a new professional services automation tool
  • Create and refine engagement templates, including project plans, milestone trackers, and communication frameworks, to drive efficiency in onboarding
  • Establish best practices for enterprise customer onboarding, ensuring repeatable and structured implementation processes
  • Continuously improve project workflows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance execution speed and quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document processes that improve internal efficiency and customer experience
  • Monitor key onboarding and implementation metrics, leveraging data to optimize processes and drive operational improvements


About you

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in SaaS, EDI, supply chain, or technical integrations
  • Strong understanding of EDI processes and/or API integrations is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Powerpoint/Google Slides
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, X12/JSON, ERP/CRM systems is a plus
  • PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications are a bonus
  • Familiarity with professional services automation tools is a plus

The pay range for this role is:

107,000 - 132,000 USD per year (United States)

90,000 - 112,000 CAD per year (Canada)
