We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting team in a Contract capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and review month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper classification of transactions.
• Prepare and process P&L budget reclasses and perform flux analysis reviews
• Prepare reconciliations and audit schedules; liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audits.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reporting.
• Support payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting accuracy
• Mentor and review work of the Staff Accountant, providing guidance and support.
• Assist with pulling request for tax support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• ZIP HQ, or other Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems, preferred
• Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue and ASC 842 Lease Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The expected salary range for this position is $31.23/hr - $40.01/hr.

Orna considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, market data and internal equity. These considerations mean actual compensation may vary.
