About the role
In this role, you’ll own the delivery of all Outsmart applications. As an early member of the engineering team you’ll play a critical role in setting the tone for Outsmart’s technical culture including setting standards for quality and scalability. You will lead CI/CD and Ops for Outsmart’s engineering team and will be expected to lead tooling decisions where necessary.

Responsibilities
- Define and own CI/CD for engineering
- Govern and optimize Github
- Define and own monitoring: ELK or equivalent
- Experience enabling ML/MLOps teams
- Establish and enforce Outsmart’s security posture
- Act as administrator to all critical systems
- Define and enforce version control paradigm for all environments and builds
- Facilitate database migrations and ensure stability and scalability of Outsmart’s backend
- Generalize to other technical functions when needed: SysAdmin, IT, QA, Fullstack
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in hands-on fullstack role
- Deep and proven experience with CI/CD tooling and techniques
- Experience enabling mobile dev teams
- Experience shipping mobile applications at scale
- Proven track record of enabling telemetry and cost optimization
- Defined and enforced security for mobile products
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
