Program Management & Engineering Support
We are looking for the Program Management & Engineering Support to lead cross-functional execution of hardware and software programs from concept through launch, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, marketing, and operations. This role is essential for driving execution, transparency, and accountability across global teams—and will also help lay the foundation for building OWC’s program management function.

What Will You be Doing?
Program Leadership:
· Own the end-to-end program timeline, milestones, and execution from concept to launch.
· Partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to define deliverables and checkpoints.
· Drive progress across hardware, firmware, and go-to-market efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Coordinate with global teams, including Asia and Europe, across time zones and work cultures.
· Manage communication between internal and external teams, including ODMs, suppliers, and regional offices.
· Ensure smooth handoffs, updates, and issue resolution across regions.
Team Development:
· Help define, scale, and lead OWC’s program management function.
· Serve as the first program lead and establish foundational tools, templates, and processes.
· Play a key role in hiring and mentoring future project managers as the company grows.
· Experience partnering with Operations and Manufacturing teams on NPI
Process & Risk Management:
· Build and maintain stage gate processes and program dashboards.
· Identify risks early and manage mitigation with speed and clarity.
· Champion continuous improvement in execution and accountability.
Business & Executive Support:
· Deliver high-quality status updates and summaries to executive leadership.
· Contribute to business case tracking, budgeting, and post-launch reviews.
· Shipping coordination using Smartsheet.
What You Bring with You?
Qualifications:
• 5+ years in Program Management (hardware preferred), with experience running global programs.
• Proven success working with international teams, particularly across Asia and Europe.
• Experience with NPI or stage gate processes.
• Strong communicator with operational rigor and executive presence.
Bonus Qualifications:
• Mandarin language skills (spoken or written).
• Experience managing international teams or offshore development partners.
• Prior success building and leading a program management team.
• Familiarity with consumer hardware or storage-related product ecosystems.
Compensation Structure for the Position
The compensation package for this role includes a competitive base salary starting at $90,000 USD per year. The amount of variable compensation will be determined based on your experience, skills, and performance.
