Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Manager, Data Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our episode pricing and analytics operations, both to internal stakeholders as well as external customers. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and develop reports and visualizations that clearly communicate data-driven insights. You will guide and support Data Analysts on a daily basis in the development and implementation of data and statistical models.
Responsibilities:
● Analyze large amounts of healthcare data from multiple sources to support business decision making.
● Perform exploratory data analyses and evaluate data quality and usability.
● Contribute to translating business requirements into models and technical analytical specifications.
● Set up data pipelines to ensure efficient and robust data processing with built-in QA and exception handling
● Review/Maintain a codebase using version control systems such as Git.
● Develop data reports and visualizations to clearly communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
● Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and provide insights to support decision-making.
● Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for data cleansing and improvement.
● Identify areas for process improvement and develop recommendations to optimize data flow and analysis.
● Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, economics, or computer science.
● 8+ years of experience using Python and related libraries (pandas/numpy) for data analysis.
● Experience guiding data analysts through problem solving, computer programming tasks, and being responsible for team output.
● Experience working with large administrative data sets, preferably healthcare claims data.
● Knowledge of healthcare markets, specifically with respect to value-based care
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
● Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
● Experience with version control in Git.
● Experience setting up data pipelines.
● Experience preparing results for internal and external clients.
● Ability to compose robust data processing code to enforce expected patterns and handle exceptions.
● Experience with exploratory data analyses and ability to evaluate data usability/quality.
