Role Summary:

We're seeking a driven Sales Executive to accelerate growth in our episode-based healthcare benefit solutions within the self-funded market. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships with brokers and consultants while identifying new business opportunities in your assigned territory. You'll leverage your sales background to develop customized solutions that bring transparency and cost efficiency to clients. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-building skills with proven sales performance, ready to grow with an innovative healthcare technology startup. Success in this position requires confident presentation abilities, collaborative problem-solving, and a passion for transforming how healthcare benefits are delivered.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the large group ASO market
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Participate in forecasting activities based on experience level
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, and key decision-makers
  • Provide training and support to brokers to enhance their understanding and selling capabilities of ASO plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized ASO solutions that meet the needs of large group clients
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting the ASO market
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Demonstrate confident presentation and negotiation skills with clients and partners


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in insurance/benefits or B2B sales, with preference for self-funded benefit space experience
  • Track record in client-facing roles with production KPIs, quoting, service, renewals, or similar responsibilities
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
  • Confident presenter and negotiator
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eager, coachable, and looking to advance in sales
