Join Us in Transforming Higher Education!

Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, working on the ground, and making a real impact? Packback is looking for a Field Account Executive to drive new business and revenue growth in Alabama and North Florida. If you’re passionate about education and love engaging with faculty in person, this role is your opportunity to shape the future of inquiry-based learning.

Why This Role Matters

At Packback, we’re on a mission to inspire curiosity in every student. As a Field Account Executive, you’ll be the face of Packback on college campuses, helping faculty implement our innovative platform to transform the student learning experience. Your focus? Expanding adoption of Packback among professors—both at schools where we already have a presence and those where we’re breaking new ground.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Engaging with faculty in person: 3-4 days a week on campus, meeting with professors, setting up product demos, and knocking on doors to start conversations.
  • Strategic prospecting: Using email, LinkedIn, and personal outreach to build relationships and schedule meetings.
  • Driving new business: Identifying opportunities to expand Packback usage with new and existing faculty.
  • Collaborating with Customer Success: Ensuring smooth onboarding and implementation for new faculty adopters.
  • Owning your territory: Managing your pipeline, prioritizing engagements, and tracking progress toward sales goals.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Sales experience in education: 1-4 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in higher ed publishing or ed-tech.
  • Higher ed faculty sales expertise: You know how to navigate campus relationships and have sold to professors before (or have a strong understanding of faculty dynamics).
  • Tech-savvy approach: Experience with Learning Management Systems and digital tools in education.
  • Competitive and resilient mindset: You love a challenge, bounce back from setbacks, and push forward with energy and optimism.
  • Passion for education: You believe in the power of inquiry-based learning and want to be part of the change.
  • Ability to travel: This role requires regular travel by car and plane, with occasional overnight stays.

What’s In It for You?

  • Structured onboarding and training: Clear 30/60/90-day milestones to set you up for success.
  • A meaningful mission: Your work directly impacts the learning experience for students nationwide.
  • Career growth: Join a fast-growing company where your contributions will be recognized and rewarded.
  • Competitive compensation: Base salary + variable commission, with uncapped earning potential.
  • Great benefits:
    • Unlimited PTO and flexible work options
    • Generous parental and family leave
    • 401k with employer matching
    • Health, dental, and vision insurance
    • Employer-paid perks like a Calm subscription and DoorDash credits
