About the role

The Juice Haus Barista is more than a café position. It's a front-line role in the Padel Haus community experience. You'll be the first and last interaction many guests have during their visit, serving up fresh juices, smoothies, coffee, light bites, and drinks to players and guests who are energized, social, and looking for more than just a transaction.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and takes genuine pride in both their craft and their hospitality. Whether it's fueling a player before a match, pouring drinks at a tournament event, or simply making a regular feel at home, you set the tone for what the Juice Haus experience feels like every single day.

What You Will Do

Service & Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve fresh juices, smoothies, espresso drinks, and other beverages to Padel Haus quality standards.
• Assemble and prepare light food items including sandwiches and snacks with consistency and care.
• Serve beer and alcoholic beverages responsibly and in compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain speed and quality during high-volume rushes, including before and after court bookings and club events.

Guest Experience

• Greet every guest warmly and create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere that reflects the Padel Haus brand.
• Anticipate guest needs, make menu recommendations, and ensure every interaction feels personal and attentive.
• Handle guest questions, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a hospitality-first mindset.

Operations & Cleanliness

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and prep area at all times.
• Follow opening and closing procedures with full ownership and accountability.
• Monitor and track inventory, flagging low stock to management proactively.
• Operate POS systems accurately for orders, payments, and transactions.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service standards and guidelines.

Team & Community

• Collaborate closely with the Club Concierge team and event staff to support a seamless guest experience during events and tournaments.
• Contribute positively to the Juice Haus and Padel Haus team culture.

What You Bring

• 1+ years of experience in a café, bar, juice bar, or hospitality environment
• Hands-on experience preparing espresso drinks, fresh juices, and/or smoothies
• Comfort with light food prep and working in a fast-paced kitchen or bar setting
• Valid Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one prior to start date or during your first 2 months of employment
• A warm, outgoing personality with a natural ability to connect with people
• Strong multitasking skills and composure under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their responsibilities
• Comfort using POS systems, Apple products, and basic tech tools
• A genuine interest in sports, wellness, or community-driven environments. Passion for the Padel Haus mission is a plus!
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per applicable state law

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Compensation

• $20 per hour, plus tips.
