We are currently seeking an Investment Operations Associate who believes that their signature is on every assignment they complete, and has the ability to independently carry out the duties of the position. The ability to effectively manage time with attention to detail is critical to this role.

Position Overview

The Investment Operations Associate supports the portfolio management, trading, reporting, and billing functions of the firm, ensuring accurate investment implementation, efficient operational workflows, and high-quality support for advisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Investment Operations: Support daily trade rebalances, set-up new accounts, monitor custodial alerts, maintain daily checklist.
  • Portfolio Monitoring & Management: Manage the portfolio management software, monitor portfolios in accordance with their investment policy, monitor retirement plans, assist in account and money transfers, and assist in rebalancing trades. 
  • Reporting & Billing: Run performance reports, retirement plan reports, quarterly investment reports, internal management reports, execute the billing process, provide operational reports.
  • Systems, Tools & Compliance: Use iRebal, Nitrogen,FI360, Salesforce, Capitect and other software;  complete compliance tasks; maintain records in Salesforce; support process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, bookkeeping, or back-office support
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Knowledge of investments and financial markets is preferred
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required, especially in Excel / spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of iRebal, Schwab Advisor, Nitrogen, Fi360 a plus
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of Investment Advisory Regulations a plus
  • Proficient in Google Drive
  • Demonstrates personal integrity and honesty. Can deal with confidential information on a daily basis
  • Ability to deal with stress in an ever-changing investment environment
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems

Firm Information

Location: Remote

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation Range: $60,000-$90,000 base pay; plus incentives and designation pay

Supervisor: Chief Investment Officer

The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 90,000 USD per year (US)
