About the role
As SEO Product Manager you’ll take full ownership of the organic growth product roadmap—bridging strategy with execution across SEO, content, and platform development. This role is ideal for a leader who’s not afraid to dive into the details while driving forward a high-impact, cross-functional SEO operation in a competitive industry.
You’ll oversee the vision, prioritization, and delivery of scalable SEO initiatives that align with both growth and brand-building goals.
This role can be based in Malta (hybrid) or fully remote within Europe or North America.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision for SEO growth across a portfolio of iGaming affiliate websites.
- Translate business goals into SEO product roadmaps, sprint cycles, and scalable systems.
- Prioritize initiatives that maximize performance, compliance, and brand authority.
- Lead hands-on implementation of advanced SEO strategies, from site structure to schema, technical audits, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure best practices are embedded in content workflows, keyword targeting, and on-page execution.
- Guide site migrations, new launches, and restructures to preserve and grow organic performance.
- Drive collaboration between SEO, product, content, engineering, and outreach teams.
- Lead agile processes for SEO-related product development: backlog grooming, sprint planning, and QA.
- Align initiatives with regulatory frameworks and iGaming compliance needs.
- Oversee large-scale content operations with a focus on E-E-A-T, topical depth, and editorial quality.
- Develop frameworks for scalable content hubs, expert contributions, and digital PR campaigns.
- Champion a user-first content approach—balancing search intent, conversion goals, and trust.
- Build and maintain performance dashboards tracking traffic, rankings, engagement, and ROI.
- Set SEO growth targets and forecast revenue impact based on historical and competitive data.
- Communicate KPIs and product impact to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years leading SEO or product teams in high-growth digital environments—ideally in affiliate or iGaming.
- Proven track record of scaling organic traffic and building SEO infrastructure across large portfolios.
- Deep expertise in technical SEO, content systems, analytics, and cross-functional project delivery.
- Experience aligning SEO strategy with product development and brand positioning.
- Exceptional project and stakeholder management skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Fluent in SEO toolsets (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, GA4, Sitebulb, Looker Studio, etc.).
- Strong grasp of compliance and regulatory nuances in the iGaming industry.
- Comfortable managing distributed teams and balancing strategic oversight with tactical execution.
- Experience with multilingual or international SEO is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with affiliate tracking tools and monetization models.
- Background in programmatic SEO, automation workflows, or AI-assisted content ops is considered an asset.
