About the role
- The SEO Analyst acts as Project Owner, handling day to day work as well as the required project management to keep projects on time and accountable. Working with both; leads to understand the priorities and wider strategy, and executives; to get the work done, this role is an integral part of how work gets done.
This role can be based in Malta (hybrid) or remote within other countries in Europe.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Management of the team’s project management platform, updating tasks, sprints and projects to reflect progress, and organizing feedback where additional support is needed.
- Creating SOPs and training for projects, enabling SEO executives to be able to create work that supports the business and meets our best in class expectations regarding quality.
- Weekly Monday Checks reporting and creating work items to solve any issues which arise as part of changes in the SERPs or through changes made on our websites.
- Updating and maintaining each website's domain index, ensuring it a dependable insight into what pages are live, being written and in need of maintenance.
- This role is the main point of contact for other teams and team members for the assigned projects, handling calls and meetings, and responding to questions from other team members.
- Producing a monthly report which lists all of the work undergone by the team, as well as outlining how we performed during the month and any pertinent points related to our performance.
- Creating targets for the offsite team so they can support with building both money and supporting page links.
- Working with the offsite team to develop link magnet pages/resources.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience performing SEO strategy tasks such as; keyword research, content gap analysis, internal linking audits, on-page optimization, etc.
- Experience working with Editorial, Production and Product teams to support with getting content live and correctly formatted.
- Proven understanding of on-page SEO best practices, with a practical appreciation for the value of signals and the cost-benefit expectation of work
- Advanced user of SEMRush, AHREFs, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog - with proven ability to train SEO executives in how to get the best from the tools.
