About the role
- The SEO Specialist at Paradise Media plays an important role in developing and executing off-page optimization strategies to enhance the online visibility and authority of our assets. This role is responsible for driving high-quality backlinks through strategic outreach and partnerships, overseeing a network of owned web properties, and staying ahead of industry trends to ensure our assets remain at the forefront of search engine results.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Domain Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of available domains or acquisition opportunities to identify high-value prospects.
- Evaluate key domain metrics (e.g., DA, PA, backlink profiles, and traffic history) to ensure alignment with overall SEO strategies.
- Strategically acquire selected domains to enhance organic visibility and link-building efforts.
Maintenance of Web Properties:
- Manage and optimize an existing network of owned sites to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance with search engine guidelines.
- Regularly audit these properties for performance, indexing, and link quality.
- Develop and publish high-quality, relevant content across owned sites to maintain authority and relevance.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with off-page initiatives to ensure adherence to best practices.
Maintenance of Affiliate Websites:
- Oversee the SEO performance of affiliate websites, ensuring they rank competitively for target keywords.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues (e.g., broken links, crawl errors, page speed).
- Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, content, etc.) and enhance user experience to boost conversions.
- Monitor affiliate website traffic, rankings, and revenue metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.
Recommendations for improvement:
- Analyze website performance data, competitor strategies, and industry trends to identify areas for enhancement.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.
Future roadmap for success:
- Develop and present a comprehensive SEO roadmap outlining short-term and long-term strategies for growth.
- Set clear KPIs and benchmarks to measure the success of SEO initiatives.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in SEO to maintain a competitive edge.
- Regularly report on progress, challenges, and results to stakeholders.
- Any other ad hoc job related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an off-page SEO role, with a track record of successful link-building campaigns.
- Comprehensive understanding of link-building principles, backlink profiles, and diverse backlink types.
- Understanding of social signals and advanced link acquisition strategies, including multi-layer approaches that comply with best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Experience with building and managing networks of websites (from acquisition through deployment).
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
- College Degree preferred, but not required.
