Who We’re Looking for


We’re hiring our first ever dedicated Social Media Manager! You are data-driven and a creative pro with a strong understanding of social media best practices, analytics, and reporting–as well as the ability to create compelling content. This could include blogs, long-form articles, or social media posts, with a focus on crafting narratives that resonate with our audience. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, this person will play a key role in creating, implementing, and managing a social media strategy focused on elevating brand awareness as well as other strategic business goals. Candidates should possess strong writing and storytelling skills, demonstrate excellent judgment, and multitask effectively. Most importantly, you’re someone who shares in our passion for improving the lives of students through communication. 


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily management and moderation of social media channels
  • Creating, managing, and measuring a social media strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Reporting on KPIs and providing insights and strategic recommendations
  • Running paid social ads (Meta, LinkedIn) 
  • Working with an in-house graphic designer to produce engaging content 
  • Building relationships with edtech thought leaders across social channels 
  • Cultivating brand champions through creative social media marketing 
  • Working cross-functionally with teams to inform content and strategy
  • Ensuring consistent brand and voice across social channels 
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, best practices, and metrics
  • Creating blogs, long-form content, and social media posts that align with brand voice and messaging.

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management (preferably in SaaS or other tech-related field) 
  • Experience with multi-social posting through platforms such as Hootsuite, HubSpot, Sprout Social, etc. 
  • Experience with Asana or other project management platforms
  • Experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite 
  • General understanding of SEO and best practices 
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and relevant content.
  • Strong ability to be agile, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Video editing experience required

The salary range for this role will be $70,000 to $90,000, DOE.
