About the Role 

 

As our Human Resources Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources team across various functions, including recruiting, learning and development, employment law compliance, onboarding, and employee relations. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual capable of managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.  

 

We are seeking a candidate with strong recruiting experience who is also eager to expand their knowledge and skills in Human Resources management. This role demands versatility, as you may focus primarily on one specific area depending on business needs. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

Recruiting 

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and hiring 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements 
  • Partner with our Manager, HR Operations to fine-tune our Applicant Tracking System (Rippling) and streamline recruiting activities 
  • Roll out LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other tools to improve talent acquisition efforts 
  • Proactively develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs 

Learning & Development 

  • Partner with our Manager, HR Operations to fine-tune our Learning Management System (Rippling) and create automations and reporting for management.  
  • Identify and roll out required compliance training across our global organization, in partnership with our legal team 
  • Develop and/or identify department-specific and managerial/leadership trainings to roll out 
  • Establish a cadence to ensure managers hold their employees accountable for completing required trainings 
  • Train managers on the capabilities of the learning management system and promote company-wide adoption 

Employment Law Compliance 

  • Partner with our legal team to ensure compliance with global and U.S. employment laws and regulations 
  • Update and maintain HR Policies and procedures, including rolling out a new company handbook and state-specific policies  
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal standards 
  • Stay current and anticipate changes in employment legislation 
  • Prepare and submit required government reports 

Onboarding/Offboarding 

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. 
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide necessary training and resources 
  • Manage exit interviews and offboarding processes 

Employee Relations 

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns 
  • Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and performance issues with the U.S. employee base 
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture 

Other Projects 

  • Assist the Sr Director of Human Resources in other projects as assigned, such as employee surveys, performance review process, and compensation reviews  

Qualifications 

  • 3-5 Years of experience as a Recruiter or Human Resources professional  
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) 
  • Intermediate knowledge of employment laws and regulations 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Flexible Work Arrangement 

  • Prefer a Utah-based individual who can work two days per week from our Lehi, UT office
