Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Grade: $60,000 - $73,000 annually
JOB SUMMARY:
Partners Behavioral Healthcare is seeking an Alcohol and Drug Counselor to assist individuals in our outpatient program in Waite Park. The Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC/ ADC-T) plays a key role in the delivery of treatment services to the clients and is responsible for ensuring that all clients receive services as mandated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). They provide services to support the achievement of effective personal development working with clients individually and in group settings to identify and resolve issues including substance use, mental health, personal and/or emotional and family issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC/ ADC-T) is responsible for providing education, counseling, and treatment to clients within the Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient programs according to the requirements mandated by the MN Department of Human Services (DHS) and 245G. They are expected to deliver and properly document the provision of treatment services including the Initial Service Plan, Comprehensive Assessment, Individual Treatment Plan, Treatment Plan Reviews, Progress Notes, Summary at Termination of Services, Continuing Care Plan, and the overall maintenance of client records.
