Job description
Pathlock GTM Leadership Development Program (SDR Track)
Location: Denver, CO (Lower Highlands) – Relocation assistance available for top candidates Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 OTE (Base + Performance-Based Variable) Role Type: Hybrid (4 days in-office for mentorship and collaboration)
The Opportunity: The Foundation of Future Leadership
You are ambitious, analytical, and graduating from a top-tier university. You aren’t looking for a "job"—you are looking for a launchpad. You want to understand how high-growth technology companies scale, how revenue is generated, and how to influence senior executives.
The Pathlock GTM Leadership Development Program is designed to take high-potential graduates and transform them into future leaders of our Go-To-Market organization.
The Reality: Great commercial leaders—CROs, VPs of Sales, and Founders—start by mastering the art of the hunt. The Program: Your journey begins in the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function. This is not a "call center" role; it is an intensive, 12-18 month immersion into the psychology of sales, cybersecurity market dynamics, and pipeline architecture.
Program Phase 1: Market Development & Execution (Months 0-18)
In your first rotation, you will be the engine of our growth. You will learn to build a business case, navigate complex corporate hierarchies, and articulate value to C-Level executives.
- Core Responsibilities:
- Strategic Prospecting: Orchestrate high-volume, targeted outbound campaigns to break into Fortune 500 accounts. You will move beyond "cold calling" to executing multi-channel engagement strategies (Phone, Email, LinkedIn, Social).
- Executive Engagement: Engage directly with CIOs, CISOs, and Audit Directors. You will learn to speak the language of risk and compliance, turning cold prospects into qualified sales opportunities.
- Pipeline Architecture: Partner with Senior Account Executives to build and manage a robust sales pipeline. You aren't just setting appointments; you are qualifying business viability.
- Data-Driven Iteration: rigorous tracking of KPIs and conversion metrics. You will analyze your own data to refine your pitch, A/B test messaging, and optimize your workflow.
- Market Intelligence: Act as the "eyes and ears" of the company. You will feed market feedback regarding features, objections, and competitor movements back to Product and Strategy teams.
- The Curriculum: How We Invest in You
- Unlike a standard entry-level role, this program includes structured development:
- Executive Mentorship: Regular exposure to Pathlock’s C-Suite and VP-level leadership for career coaching.
- Sales Science Training: Mastery of modern sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, etc.) and the GTM tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Career Mapping: A clear, merit-based path to promotion. Successful graduates of the program typically advance into:
- Account Executive (Closing Role): Managing full-cycle deals.
- Customer Success Manager: Managing high-value client relationships.
- RevOps/Marketing: Managing the strategy behind the engine.
The Candidate Profile
We are looking for "Future Founders"—individuals with high intellectual horsepower and grit.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a track record of academic excellence. Alumni as well as new graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Intellectually Curious: You want to know how things work. You research before you speak. You are eager to become a subject matter expert in cybersecurity.
- Competitive & Resilient: You have a background in competitive sports, student government, or rigorous academic clubs. You handle rejection with grace and view obstacles as puzzles to solve.
- Articulate: You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can synthesize complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Tech-Fluent: You pick up new tools quickly. Experience with CRM or data tools is a plus, but raw cognitive ability is preferred.
Why Pathlock?
- High-Impact Work: You aren't fetching coffee; you are generating the revenue that fuels the company.
- Denver HQ: Work from our vibrant office in Denver. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration for early-career professionals.
- Culture: A meritocracy where performance is rewarded over tenure.
- Benefits: Comprehensive health/dental/vision, unlimited PTO (that you are encouraged to use), and a friendly, collaborative environment.
To Apply: Submit your resume and a brief cover letter explaining why you chose Sales/GTM as the foundation for your business career.
