Position SummaryThe Salesforce Administrator oversees the daily operation and maintenance of the Salesforce environment, managing user accounts, permissions, and ensuring data integrity. They customize Salesforce to meet business needs, develop reports and dashboards, and handle third-party integrations. Additionally, they work with stakeholders to optimize business processes, implement new Salesforce features, and provide user training and support. The role also involves ensuring compliance with security policies, managing release processes, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of Salesforce-related activities.

Salesforce Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of our Salesforce environment
  • Manage all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules
  • Ensure data integrity through regular data maintenance, including de-duplication, data enrichment, and validation rules
Configuration & Customization:
  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, workflows, process builder, approval processes, validation rules, custom apps, and other declarative tools to meet business needs
  • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and Einstein Analytics to provide actionable insights
  • Implement and manage third-party integrations and connected apps
Process Optimization:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into Salesforce requirements.
  • Identify and recommend Salesforce-based solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Drive the implementation of new Salesforce features and functions (e.g., Lightning, CPQ, Communities) and provide ongoing enhancements.
Training & Support:
  • Provide guidance and training to Salesforce users to improve their ability to use Salesforce effectively.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for end-users.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.
Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices, including regular audits of system security and data access.
  • Manage the Salesforce release process, including testing and deployment of new features.
  • Maintain documentation of all Salesforce-related processes, customizations, and integrations.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a mid to large-scale organization, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Administrator or other relevant certifications are a plus).
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in Salesforce Lightning, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • Experience with Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components is a plus.
  • Familiarity with integration tools like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Conga, or other middleware platforms.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
