Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting with financial reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives of the business.  The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, ability to organize and analyze large data sets, and excellent communication skills.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business segments and projects.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for business improvement.
  • Maintain customer roll forward models to examine monthly recurring revenue and retention analysis.
  • Define and report Key Performance Indicators for departmental and company-wide performance.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and completion of management reporting presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed to support decision making across the business.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to advance the FP&A function.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Proven success working in an FP&A (or equivalent) department.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience working with large data sets and organizing outputs into dashboards, charts, graphs, etc.
  • SQL proficiency a strong plus
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or PowerBI preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
