The right candidate for this position is someone with extensive experience in Safety who will support our projects. This person will constantly be responsible for successfully integrating safety initiatives into the functional operation of the different projects by maintaining processes and procedures to prevent injuries and violations of the law or company policies and minimize the environmental impact of our operations.

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our Sales/Estimating department in South Texas. As an Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and competitive project estimates that align with our business goals. This full-time, salaried position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by collaborating across teams to achieve the successful planning and execution of projects. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in estimating within a professional environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop detailed and accurate project estimates for a variety of construction or manufacturing projects in South Texas.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to clarify project requirements and address any concerns.
• Utilize industry-standard software and tools to create comprehensive cost analysis and reports.
• Review and validate cost estimates to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Update and maintain records of project estimates, bids, and associated data.
• Collaborate with the sales team to prepare winning bids and proposals.
• Monitor and evaluate market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an estimator, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industries.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a sharp attention to detail.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools commonly used in the industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of South Texas market conditions, including labor and material costs, is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
