About the role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a crucial role in driving growth at Paubox. The BDR is responsible for researching and understanding the target market, generating leads and working lead lists, working to identify opportunities with existing customers, and qualifying prospects. Paubox's ideal BDR will possess a proactive and results-driven attitude, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your day-to-day as an Outside Business Development Representative

  • Prospect with Flair: Reignite interest among our current customers and revive old inbound leads by reaching out with energy, creativity, and a friendly voice. You’ll be the catalyst who turns curiosity into opportunity!
  • Event Extraordinaire: Represent Paubox at industry events and tradeshows, captivating audiences with our cutting-edge solutions. Your engaging presence will spark conversations and open doors to new business.
  • Pipeline Powerhouse: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through personalized outreach, strategic follow-ups, and diligent lead tracking.
  • Collaborative Innovator: Work hand-in-hand with our sales, marketing, and product teams to share insights, celebrate wins, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Market Maven: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, turning market insights into actionable strategies that keep Paubox ahead of the curve.

  • Event Enthusiasm: Ready and excited to travel (about once a month), network, and represent Paubox at industry events with infectious energy.

It would be great if you also have

  • Sales Savvy: Previous experience in sales or lead generation with a proven track record of building relationships and closing deals.
  • Curiosity for Tech & Cybersecurity: While not required to be an expert, a keen interest in the tech and cybersecurity space will help you hit the ground running.

Salary data for this role

  • Base salary: $55,000 annual compensation
  • Variable compensation: Plan based on performance

This is a full-time remote position, and requires individuals to operate a company-provided computer effectively for the duration of their workday. Domestic travel will frequently be required for this position.

The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 55,000 USD per year (Remote)
