About the role


The outside Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a crucial role in driving growth at Paubox. This role will be responsible for representing Paubox at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate qualified leads and drive revenue growth. Paubox's ideal outside BDR will possess a proactive and results-driven attitude,  with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Your day-to-day as an Outside Business Development Representative

  • Identify and attend high-impact events including conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Generate and research new leads from event attendance
  • Work lead lists to develop top of funnel sales opportunities for the Account Executive team
  • Work closely with Account Executives to strategically target key accounts
  • Maintain clean data in our CRM system (HubSpot)
  • Help as needed with other Sales related functions
  • Read 1 book or take one course each quarter

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to travel domestically more than 50% of the time, attending 15 to 20 events annually
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • A hunger to succeed in tech Sales
  • Initiative to go above and beyond to thrive in a startup environment

It would be great if you also have

  • Demonstrated history of exceeding quotas
  • Proficient in HubSpot
  • Ability to think strategically and execute on abstract ideas
  • Adaptability
  • Previous experience selling into healthcare
  • Know what the acronym HIPAA stands for
  • Contributed to the growth of a new Business Development team

Salary data for this role

  • Base salary: $55,000 annual compensation
  • Variable compensation plan based on performance

This is a full-time remote position, and requires individuals to operate a company-provided computer effectively for the duration of their workday. Frequent domestic travel will be required for this position.
