Job Description
In this role, you will work with net new customers across PDQ's expanding product offerings within our mid-market customer segment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end customer pre-sales lifecycle, from detailed discovery through deal close. We are seeking candidates with B2B SaaS experience who are proactive and collaborative, display meticulous pipeline hygiene, and are eager to collaborate across PDQ internal teams to best serve the needs of our prospective customers.
What you'll be doing:
- Nurture leads through initial outreach to deal close, prospect potential new business and provide post-purchase support throughout the customer’s first year with PDQ.
- Perform detailed discovery that helps to uncover the primary pain points a prospect is experiencing, build relationships with key stakeholders, and gain an understanding of the right products & features to help the prospect solve their problems.
- Understand the needs and motivations of all members of the buying committee to target messaging, build business cases, and drive towards a purchase.
- Leverage deep product knowledge and discovery information to perform a targeted demo that shows how the prospective customer how they can solve their problems with our products.
- Partner with Sales Engineering team to drive product adoption / proof of concept throughout the sales process and to speed up time to value.
- Provide proactive support and follow up to customers and prospects while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM (we use Saleforce!).
- Become an expert in the features, benefits and application of PDQ's suite of products and look for opportunities to cross-sell.

We're looking for people who have:
- Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable level of industry achievement (self-learners are welcomed!)
- 3+ years of previous experience as an Account Executive (SaaS experience highly preferred) with a history of consistent quota attainment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Previous experience working within an IT or IT Security related industry—our customers are IT professionals.
