Job Description:

    • Please note this is a hybrid role open to candidates in the Salt Lake City, UT area with an expectation of three in-office working days at our South Salt Lake City headquarters.   

We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help scale and secure our products, including our cloud hosted, agent-based product, Connect. You’ll be responsible for automating infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, improving system reliability, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless deployments and high availability - while also driving improvements to the developer experience by reducing friction in development workflows and tooling.


What you'll be doing:

  • Assist development teams with deploying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines as well as maintaining workloads in Kubernetes infrastructure in GCP
  • Configuring and building infrastructure as code in Terraform
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows and improve overall development experience.
  • Respond to and resolve infrastructure health and performance issues
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation and incident management

Who you are:

  • Experience with:
    • 3+ years in a professional DevOps role working with Kubernetes
    • At least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    • Tools to define infrastructure as code (e.g., Terrform)
    • CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI)
    • Bonus: Writing technical documentation
    • Bonus: Configuration of tracing, centralized logs, metrics and monitoring
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, Go)
  • Familiarity with observability tools and practices
