About the role
We’re seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, empathetic, and data-driven user experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how community health workers and care managers navigate complex workflows, enabling them to deliver better care with less friction.
This is a high-impact role with lots of autonomy — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and cares deeply about social health.
What you'll do
- Lead the end-to-end UX process, from research and discovery to wireframes, prototypes, and handoff
- Conduct user interviews and usability testing with community-based users, especially CHWs and care managers
- Translate user insights into intuitive design systems that support complex clinical and social care workflows
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, customer success, and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation
- Champion accessibility and usability for a broad range of user needs, especially across multilingual, mobile-first populations.
- Evolve and maintain our design system and UI standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including end-to-end product design for web and mobile apps
- Experience in startup environments with fast iteration cycles and a bias for action
- Strong portfolio showcasing elegant solutions to complex user problems
- Deep empathy for users with low digital literacy or limited access to care
- Experience in healthcare, especially Medicaid/Medicare, social determinants of health, or community-based care is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Figma or similar design tools
- BONUS: experience designing workflows for care navigation, EHRs or public health programs.
