We are looking for a candidate who works well in a fast-paced environment, has experience in the construction or service industries, and enjoys working outdoors throughout the year. Although we're a seasonal business, we install and service our customers year round.

Job Purpose:

Material handlers are responsible for a range of tasks geared around maintenance, cleanliness, and organization in various environments.  Responsibilities include operating machinery, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety protocols. Tasks often involve heavy lifting and outdoor work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support efficient daily operations in shop and yard facilities
• Stage and deliver material with accuracy
• Follow production schedule to complete orders on time
• Unload material from delivery trucks
• Drive material to work sites or between operational facilities as needed
• Inspect and maintain yard equipment and tools
• Organize materials in the yard according to size, type, and grade
• Operate forklifts and other machinery to transport materials around the yard
• Keep the yard clean and organized, including sweeping, picking up debris, and disposing of waste
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• A self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong attention to detail for organizing and categorizing inventory
• Experience in operating machinery such as forklifts
• Maintain a current and valid driver’s license
• Prioritize safety measures and follow safety protocols
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions
• Good communication skills for collaborating with team members, supervisors, and customers

Preferred Skills:

• Current and valid sit down forklift experience
• Current and valid Class C license
• Skidsteer experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred

The wage range for this role is $18/hr - 22/hr
