What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set the Stage for Precision: Set up and configure water jet cutting machines according to detailed work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications, ensuring everything is calibrated to perfection.
• Operate with Excellence: Run water jet machines to cut materials like metal, stone, glass, and plastics, making sure every cut aligns perfectly with project requirements.
• Maintain the Flow: Monitor machine performance, adjusting settings like water pressure and speed to keep operations running smoothly and meeting stringent quality standards.
• Troubleshoot Like a Pro: Tackle minor machine issues on the spot, minimizing downtime and keeping projects on track.
• Quality-Driven Focus: Inspect each cut meticulously using precision measuring tools, ensuring all cuts are up to industry standards and exceed client expectations.
• Collaborate for Success: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to adjust machine settings and achieve seamless results. Report any issues promptly to keep production flowing.
• Safety and Cleanliness First: Always follow strict safety protocols, wear required protective gear, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency for everyone.

What We’re Looking For:

• Precision and Attention to Detail: Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure every cut is executed with flawless accuracy.
• Mechanical Know-How: A solid understanding of machine mechanics, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain water jet cutting machines.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling varying weights of materials without compromising quality.
• Problem-Solver: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others to meet production goals and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational training or certification in machinery operation, CNC programming, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience with machine operation, especially CNC machines or water jet cutting, is highly beneficial.
