What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and Optimize: Develop and improve manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal use of resources and the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Software: Must be able to do Planning Engineering, program lasers and other machines like laser, press brake, etc remotely.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production teams, quality assurance, and project management to develop solutions that drive product quality and production efficiency.
- Implement New Technologies: Research and implement cutting-edge technologies and processes to enhance manufacturing capabilities and streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Analyze and resolve manufacturing challenges in real-time, offering solutions that improve overall performance and reduce downtime.
- Conduct Data Analysis: Use data-driven approaches to monitor and improve production processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly.
- Create Documentation: Develop clear, concise process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance product quality, production timelines, and cost-efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Process Expertise: Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and technologies.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions that improve production systems and processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, and other manufacturing tools is essential. Knowledge of automation and smart manufacturing is a plus.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to review complex data and technical specifications to ensure precision and consistency in manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on process optimization, troubleshooting, and technology implementation.
- Remote Experience: Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment is highly beneficial.
- Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar certifications are a plus.
