Perfecting Peds is long-term comprehensive medication management, as an analytically driven and interoperable virtual professional service for health plans' high-risk and high-cost pediatrics.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals to join our remote team as a part-time Patient Engagement Coordinator here at Perfecting Peds. You’ll be the first point of contact, cold-calling families identified by their health plan, helping them understand our services and scheduling their first telehealth appointment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Make outbound calls (cold calling) to families provided by our contracted health plans

• Explain our services and schedule initial telehealth appointments

• Communicate with empathy, patience, and professionalism

• Accurately document all interactions in various internal systems

• Attend virtual training sessions and team meetings as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Experience in patient outreach, call centers, scheduling, pharmacy tech, front desk, or healthcare navigation

• Lived experience as a caregiver for a child or loved one with complex medical needs

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

• Comfortable making outbound phone calls to people all day long

• Reliable internet and a quiet, private home workspace

• Availability for at least 20 hours per week, during business hours, Monday–Friday

• This position is open to U.S. citizens who are legally authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time. 

WHAT WE OFFER:

• $20/hour base pay

• Uncapped commissions for scheduled appointments ($2/appt)
