Event Sales Manager


Pay range- 115,000-130,000 with 70/30 split


Personify A2Z is seeking a Sales Engineer to support A2Z prospects, existing clients and the A2Z Sales team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for sharing customer requirements with the Marketing and Engineering teams to improve the products and meet market demands. You will be our client facing technical liaison and ensure that our products are positioned correctly to solve their business challenges. 
 
In conjunction with assigned Sales Account Executives and Account Managers, you will be responsible for conducting in-person and remote product demonstrations, articulating the technical value of A2Z products, and ensuring successful Proof of Concepts to beat the competition.

We have four offices located in Austin, Atlanta, Washington-Baltimore, and Toronto, accessible to all employees. Here’s how you will make a significant impact: 

  • Be the technical sales lead throughout the pre-sales cycle by owning and driving evaluations to success for all prospects (A2Z) and cross sell opportunities 
  • Technical pre-sales support for Accounts Managers 
  • Develop relationships with the sales teams, Project Managers and customers in support of Personify A2Z sales objectives 
  • Provide technical expertise and real-life experience in creating solutions, designs, proof of concept and implementation 
  • Own and drive continued improvements to the demo environment / portal for sales 
  • Conduct research and use knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections 
  • Educate sales teams on the solutions 
  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction 
     

What You Bring 

We are looking for the best of the best – Sales professionals who have demonstrated success in conveying value for prospects and clients to maximize their outcomes with their event technology and possess the skills to excel in our dynamic environment. 

 

  • 5+ years industry experience in sales engineering / sales in Events 
  • A thorough understanding of Event technology use cases 
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to see and present “the Big Picture”, uncover business challenges, and offer a solution to solve customer / prospect business issues 
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a positive attitude 
  • Travel is approximately 5-6 times per year
