About the role


We are seeking a Senior Product Manager – Integrations to lead our integrations and public APIs. This key role spans our platform’s needs as well as our partner-facing experience. You will have the autonomy to define and execute strategies that drive customer success.


As our company grows and our relationships with data-consuming partners deepen, your role will become increasingly critical. This position is based in Mooresville, NC, with an expectation of regular in-office presence.


What you'll do

  • Define product vision & strategy – Work with leadership to develop integration strategies with third-party products and partners. Lead the development of PetScreening’s external API to support inbound integrations.
  • Drive product discovery & design – Collaborate with product leads, internal teams (Operations, Support, Sales), and users to prioritize requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Foster product innovation – Conduct competitive research, engage with customers, and generate insights to continuously improve our integration capabilities.
  • Lead product development – Own the development of integration and API solutions, working closely with engineering, QA, data teams, and external vendors. Manage the product backlog, define epics and stories, and oversee release planning.
  • Support sales & go-to-market efforts – Partner with Sales to assist in customer conversations and ensure teams are well-versed in current and upcoming product features.
  • Maintain product documentation – Develop and manage high-quality documentation for integrations and APIs.
  • Serve as an internal integrations expert – Provide guidance across the organization, addressing operational and support needs related to integrations and APIs.

What you Bring


Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management for SaaS products, ideally in a technical role.
  • 1+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining third-party integrations or developer-facing products (APIs, SDKs, etc.).
  • Experience with product management and analytics tools such as Jira, GitHub, Amplitude, Optimizely, LogRocket, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience leading distributed cross-functional teams.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way to various stakeholders.
  • A passion for pets and a customer-focused mindset!

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer in addition to the above qualifications.
  • Experience with data products, modern data storage platforms, Big Data/MPP engines, data pipelining tools, and AI development/lifecycle management tools.
