Spanish Language Instructor (Group Class  Weekly)
Location: The Petersen
Schedule: Once per week (flexible day)
Compensation: $125.00-$150.00 per hour (this is a Contract opportunity)

About the Role:
The Petersen is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish Language Instructor to lead a weekly group class for adult learners. Familiarity with Spanish, as spoken in Mexico, is a plus, as many of our participants are interested in regional language nuances and cultural context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging, interactive group classes focused on conversational Spanish and basic language fundamentals
  Adapt lessons to suit a range of language levels (beginner to intermediate)
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Encourage participation through creative activities like role-play, group dialogue, or games to reinforce learning

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish, preferably with roots or regional fluency from Mexico
  
  
  
• Proven experience teaching Spanish, in a group or classroom setting
  
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a passion for language and culture
  
  
  
• Dependable and able to commit to a regular weekly class
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Teaching certification or language education credentials
  
  
  
• Experience teaching adults in community or cultural institutions
