Position Summary:


The SVP Credit Manager is primarily responsible for providing oversight and direction of the USDA credit team of Phoenix Lender Services.


Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and training to the PHX USDA Financial Analysts.
  • Underwrite complex loan transactions for new and existing members with complicated borrowing structures, formulating mitigated risk recommendations, synthesized in the form of well-written and accurately analyzed narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a combination of production related to SBA, and USDA programs by utilization of Brokers, Packagers, USDA offices, SBA referrals, CU/Bank referrals, with low level production coming from traditional business development.
  • Develop all types of business activity, specializing in SBA and USDA government loans.
  • Prepare and submit credit packages with recommendations to approve or disapprove extensions of credit to the loan committee.
  • Maintain a work area which ensures the safety and confidentiality of all customer records and transactions.
  • Understand and comply with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Policies and Procedures.
  • Confidently embody Community Bank & Trust values. • Represent Community Bank & Trust in the community and at community events.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiently utilize a computer and the software applicable to this position.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • High degree of ability to process and handle cash.
  • Demonstrated excellence in working with peer teams across organizations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and banking software programs and platforms.
