Manufacturing Technician

Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.


Role Overview 

Beehive Industries is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our Machining Center of Excellence. This hands-on manufacturing role focuses on preparing, cleaning, testing, and inspecting additive and machined metal parts both before and after machining operations. The ideal candidate is self-driven, quality-focused, and eager to grow technical skills in a high-precision aerospace environment. This is a first shift position from 6am-3pm Monday-Friday.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Perform waxing, dewaxing, cleaning, and surface preparation of metal parts prior to and after machining
  • Conduct pressure and flow testing of parts to verify integrity and performance
  • Perform thorough FOD (Foreign Object Debris) inspections and cleaning of parts pre- and post-machining
  • Support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of additive and conventional metal parts as needed
  • Operate and maintain post-processing and cleaning equipment, hand tools, and related fixtures
  • Follow detailed work instructions, quality control procedures, and documentation requirements
  • Communicate tool, fixture, and consumable needs to support continuous operations
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and FOD-free standards in the work area
  • Accurately document work performed and report any non-conformances
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

You Have

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, machining, aerospace, or hands-on technical roles
  • Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements
  • Familiarity with MES systems and common computer tools (Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness, FOD control, and process discipline
  • U.S. Citizenship required (ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with metal additive manufacturing post-processing (wax/dewax, support removal, cleaning)
  • Hands-on experience with pressure/flow testing or leak testing of aerospace components
  • Prior work in aerospace production or high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality and safety standards
