THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Marketing Manager to own two of our most visible marketing functions: Brand Marketing and Customer Marketing. This is an ideal role for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences and enjoys working across teams to elevate both the Black Kite brand and our customer community.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Customer Marketing

You'll help create exceptional customer experiences that build engagement, advocacy, and long-term loyalty.

Responsibilities include:

• Launch and manage the Black Kite customer community on Slack.
• Develop ongoing customer communications, including newsletters, announcements, and product updates.
• Create and execute Customer Upsell campaigns.
• Coordinate customer webinars, meetups, and user events.
• Manage the Customer Advisory Board, including meeting planning, communications, logistics, and follow-up.
• Partner with Customer Success and Product Marketing to improve customer onboarding experiences.
• Develop customer advocacy programs, including testimonials, case studies, reference customers, and review campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and strengthen relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.

Brand Marketing

You'll be responsible for ensuring Black Kite presents a consistent, polished, and recognizable brand across every customer touchpoint.

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as Black Kite's brand steward, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across presentations, collateral, events, digital assets, and campaigns.
• Own planning and execution for Black Kite's three flagship industry events:
• • Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit
  • RSA Conference
  • Black Hat USA
• Manage all company swag, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory, and distribution.
• Review marketing materials to maintain consistency in messaging, design, tone, and visual identity.
• Continuously improve brand standards and help educate internal teams on best practices.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, customer marketing, field marketing, events, or brand marketing.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing events and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining brand consistency.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Executive teams.
• Experience with customer communities (Slack, Gainsight, Influitive, etc.) is a plus.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience
• Someone who takes ownership, solves problems independently, and follows through on commitments.

The expected total compensation range for this role is $120,00-138,00 (base pay + bonus). Compensation at Black Kite extends well beyond base pay — our total rewards program includes performance-based bonuses, equity, flexible healthcare options, paid time off, and retirement savings. This range reflects a nationwide market spectrum and will vary based on qualifications, role scope, complexity, and location.
