Class A CDL Driver located near Bloomington

Blackwood Solutions is hiring dependable, safety-focused Drivers/Tractor Boom Operators to join our team. You’ll keep materials, equipment and supplies moving to project sites across multiple regions. That includes storm response, when utilities are counting on us to get the lights back on. If you’re adaptable, reliable and ready to stay out 2 weeks at a time, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL EARN

• $1,400–$2,400 per week with overtime, paid weekly
• $500/month earned safety bonus on top of your paycheck
• Overtime at time and a half over 40 hours, and it’s regularly available
• Company employee (W-2), not a contractor. Full stop.

YOUR SCHEDULE

• OTR: 2 weeks out
• Home every other weekend
• Flexible: schedules can shift with storm activity, workload or emergency deployments
• Expect overnight travel during major projects and weather mobilizations

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Safely operate company vehicles for logistics, deliveries and field operations
• Transport materials, equipment and supplies to project sites
• Keep accurate delivery logs, mileage reports and compliance paperwork
• Stay in touch with dispatch, managers and teammates on routes, delays and updates
• Support emergency and high-volume work, including storm response deployments
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Follow all federal, state and company safety requirements
• Represent Blackwood Solutions professionally with customers and teammates

WHAT YOU NEED

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean, verifiable driving record
• Must live in the Midwest
• Able to drive long hours, sometimes in challenging conditions
• Able to lift, load and move materials within company weight limits
• Reliability, strong communication and a commitment to safety
