The Construction Accountant plays a key role in supporting construction operations by overseeing critical accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining efficient close processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This position partners closely with operations and leadership to support project accounting, cost controls, audits, and forecasting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Performing month end and quarterly closing (e.g. bank reconciliation, month-end interest accruals, allocating G&A across projects, credit card reconciliation)
· Preparing trial balances and other financial statements as requested (balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements)
