About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will facilitate and coordinate Disciplined Agile Delivery processes across the organisation, enabling teams to collaborate effectively and deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently.
You will work closely with the software product development team to ensure work progresses to schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will act as an agile coach and mentor, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the team consistently meets its objectives.
The Scrum Master role sits within the Project Management function at Camlin, supporting focused delivery of product features. The Scrum Master works alongside the Programme Manager to ensure overarching software product goals and milestones are achieved.
Objectives of this role:
· Facilitate and coordinate Disciplined Agile Delivery processes across the company.
· Guide and coach teams on agile delivery processes, practices, and behaviours.
· Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products.
· Work with the product owners to prioritize the product backlog.
· As part of the Project Management function, support alignment, planning, and delivery of overarching software product milestones.
Your tasks:
· Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for multiple teams, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
· Support and facilitate Scrum of Scrums, cross-functional team meetings, and release management activities as required.
· Identify and address impediments in a timely manner to help maintain team progress.
· Support Product Managers, Product Owners, and teams in maintaining team backlogs, facilitating refinement sessions, and providing coaching where needed.
· Ensure agile principles, methodologies, and concepts are consistently understood and applied.
· Monitor sprint execution and support delivery commitments against planned product and project tasks and deliverables.
· Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
· Produce and use delivery metrics to monitor team velocity, support forecasting, and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Communicate software project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to the Programme Manager and relevant stakeholders.
Essential Criteria:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing software projects, either as a Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master.
· Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
· Strong experience using Jira and Confluence.
· Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
· Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
· Working knowledge of project management
· Fluent written and verbal English.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Desired criteria:
· Experience working in Scrum, SAFe, or Disciplined Agile Delivery environments.
· Experience working across multiple concurrent projects and with geographically distributed teams.
· Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
· Experience working with SaaS products.
· Certified Scrum Master or equivalent Scrum certification.
· Formal project management training, such as PMI, PMP, or APM, would be an advantage.
