Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, dependable, and patient-focused healthcare professional to join our team. This unique role combines the responsibilities of a Full Scope X-Ray Technologist, Certified Medical Assistant, and Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate possesses advanced clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and thrives in a collaborative team environment while delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Medical Assistant experience.
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate (Full Scope).
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, friendly, and patient-centered demeanor.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Essential Responsibilities

Medical Assistant

• Perform all Medical Assistant duties independently.
• Administer injections and immunizations.
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws.
• Conduct ear lavage procedures.
• Triage patients and accurately document clinical information.
• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

Medical Reception

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Check patients in and out efficiently.
• Collect copays and patient payments.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professional telephone etiquette.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Complete general front office administrative duties as assigned.

Radiologic Technologist (Full Scope)

• Operate a mobile digital X-ray machine safely and efficiently.
• Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions.
• Properly position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic digital X-ray images.
• Complete image documentation, resulting, and reporting in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and quality assurance procedures.

Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

• Dispense durable medical equipment as directed by the provider.
• Educate and train patients on the proper use and care of prescribed equipment.
• Complete all required documentation related to DME dispensing and patient education.
