Looking for a detail-oriented accounting technician to join a growing tech company part-time, with a structured onboarding so you’re set up to succeed from day one.

About the role

This is a part-time, ongoing position supporting our Senior Accountant with day-to-day transactional accounting. You’ll join approximately one month before our current technician’s departure for a proper handoff and training period, then take full ownership of your responsibilities from August onward.

This is a great fit for a student in an accounting or business program, or a recent graduate, who is reliable, accurate, and comfortable working independently in a digital-first environment.

What you'll do

• Post journal entries in QuickBooks Online
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Support accounts payable processing
• Code and categorize expenses
• Maintain accurate financial records and data entry

What you'll bring

Required:

• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting technician experience (or equivalent coursework)
• Comfortable with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable, organized, and self-managed

Nice to have:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed an accounting or business diploma/degree
• Experience in a tech or multi-entity environment
• Familiarity with accounts payable workflows

Nous recherchons un(e) technicien(ne) comptable minutieux(se) pour se joindre à notre équipe à temps partiel, avec une période d’intégration structurée pour assurer une transition réussie dès le premier jour.

Le Rôle

Il s’agit d’un poste permanent à temps partiel en soutien au comptable principal pour la comptabilité transactionnelle quotidienne. Vous vous joindrez environ un mois avant le départ du technicien actuel pour une période de transition et de formation adéquate, puis assumerez la pleine responsabilité de vos fonctions à partir du mois d’août.

Ce poste convient parfaitement à un(e) étudiant(e) en comptabilité ou en administration des affaires, ou à un(e) diplomé(e) récent(e), qui est fiable, rigoureux(se) et à l’aise de travailler de façon autonome dans un environnement entièrement numérique.

Vos Tâches

• Saisir les écritures de journal dans QuickBooks Online
• Effectuer les rapprochements bancaires
• Soutenir le traitement des comptes fournisseurs
• Coder et catégoriser les dépenses
• Maintenir des dossiers financiers précis et effectuer la saisie de données

Ce Que Vous Apportez

Requis :

• 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en tenue de livres ou en tant que technicien(ne) comptable (ou formation équivalente)
• À l’aise avec QuickBooks Online ou un logiciel comptable similaire
• Grand souci du détail et capacité à travailler de façon autonome
• Fiable, organisé(e) et autogéré(e)

Atouts :

• Actuellement inscrit(e) ou diplomé(e) récent(e) d’un programme de comptabilité ou d’administration des affaires
• Expérience dans un environnement technologique ou multi-entités
• Connaissance des processus liés aux comptes fournisseurs

Détails du poste

• 20 à 24 heures par semaine (horaire flexible disponible)
• Début : début à mi-juillet pour la période de chevauchement avec le technicien actuel
• Prise en charge complète et autonome des responsabilités à partir d’août
