What You Will Do

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Mock Exam Invigilators for a large-scale exam simulation held at the Melbourne Showgrounds.

This is a casual short-term role running on 8 May 2026 and 24 May 2026, supporting the delivery of high-volume, exam-style environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring each exam session runs smoothly, professionally, and in strict accordance with exam conditions.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise students during exam sessions
• Maintain strict exam conditions
• Distribute and collect exam materials 
• Provide clear instructions when required
• Assist with setup and pack-down of exam spaces

What You Will Bring

As an invigilator, you’ll help maintain a calm, controlled environment that mirrors real exam conditions - supporting students, managing materials, and ensuring all procedures are followed with precision.

• You must be available for both Saturday exam dates (9 May and 23 May)
• You must attend training either:
• • Friday 8 May, or
  • Prior to your shift on Saturday 9 May (from 6:00 AM)
• You are reliable, punctual, and professional with strong attention to detail
• You are confident managing large groups in structured environments
• You can remain calm and composed under pressure
• You follow processes and instructions precisely

Event Details

Training

• Friday 8 May | 3-hour shift (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
• Location: Melbourne Showgrounds
• Pay Rate: $32.18 per hour (standard casual rate for 21+; junior rates apply if under 21)
• Alternative: Training can be completed from 6:00 AM on Saturday 9 May if required

Exam Days

• Saturday 9 May 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Saturday 23 May 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Location: Melbourne Showgrounds
• Pay Rate: $45.05 per hour (Saturday casual rate; junior rates apply if under 21)
