About the role

Fuku is a growing fast-casual restaurant brand, first crafted as an off menu item by chefs at David Chang’s NYC Momofuku Noodle Bar. With restaurants in Coral Gables and West Palm Beach, we're looking for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven Catering & Events Sales Manager to build and grow our catering business across South Florida.

This role blends sales, catering program management, and market activation. While you'll spend significant time building relationships and growing revenue, you'll also help shape how Fuku's catering program operates, continuously improving the systems, partnerships, and guest experience that support long-term growth.

As both a builder and a seller, you'll develop new business, strengthen community partnerships, improve our catering program, and collaborate closely with Operations, Brand, and restaurant leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences from the first conversation through successful execution.

Success in this role comes from equal parts curiosity, persistence, hospitality, and execution. We're looking for a self-starter who enjoys building a business from the ground up, identifying opportunities others might miss, and creating demand through consistent outreach, relationship building, and thoughtful market engagement.

Work Location:

This is a remote position based in the South Florida region. We are prioritizing candidates located in the Miami metropolitan area or surrounding communities. Regular travel is required between Fuku restaurant locations throughout South Florida (Coral Gables and West Palm Beach), as well as to client meetings, events, and catering events.


Compensation:

$80,000-$90,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus tied to catering sales growth and business objectives.


What you'll do


Sales & Revenue Growth

  • You'll own the growth of Fuku's catering business across South Florida by creating opportunities, building lasting relationships, and delivering meaningful revenue growth.
  • Own catering revenue across Coral Gables and West Palm Beach by developing and executing a territory plan that expands Fuku's presence throughout South Florida.
  • Build a healthy pipeline of new catering or event opportunities through relationship building, networking, referrals, community engagement, tastings, local events, and proactive outreach.
  • Guide customers through the full sales journey, from initial conversation through proposal, booking, execution, follow-up, and repeat business, creating exceptional guest experiences every step of the way.
  • Develop long-term relationships with corporate clients, healthcare organizations, schools, hotels, residential communities, event planners, production companies, and other local partners that generate recurring business.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM reporting, and pipeline management while continuously evaluating opportunities to grow revenue and strengthen customer relationships.

Catering Program Management

  • You'll help build and continuously improve a catering program that is organized, scalable, and delivers a seamless experience for both guests and restaurant teams.
  • Own the day-to-day coordination and continuous improvement of Fuku's catering program, helping establish processes that support long-term growth.
  • Partner with Operations and external partners to optimize catering systems, workflows, Toast Catering & Events, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and improve catering resources, SOPs, reporting, and operational tools while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and the overall guest experience.
  • Collaborate with restaurant leadership, brand and ops to evolve catering menus, packages, pricing recommendations, and execution standards based on business needs, guest feedback, and operational learnings.

Market Awareness & Brand Activation

  • Partner with Brand to support local marketing initiatives, tastings, sponsorships, community partnerships, and activations that increase brand awareness or generate catering demand.
  • Represent Fuku throughout the South Florida market, building authentic relationships that strengthen our reputation and introduce new customers to the brand.
  • Share customer insights and market feedback to Marketing to help inform future campaigns, partnerships, and catering offerings.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Execution

  • This role succeeds through collaboration. You'll partner closely with restaurant leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional hospitality while supporting operational excellence.
  • Work closely with General Managers to align catering opportunities with restaurant capacity and ensure successful execution.
  • Own the sales, coordination, and program management aspects of catering, allowing restaurant leaders to remain focused on leading their restaurants.
  • Collaborate across Operations, Brand, Finance, and restaurant teams to ensure a seamless experience from inquiry through fulfillment while continuously identifying opportunities to improve how we work together.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, restaurant sales, event sales, or a related commercial role.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue, developing new business, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Experience improving programs, processes, or operational systems within a growing organization is highly valued.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Brand/Marketing, Finance, and restaurant leadership.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to create opportunities rather than wait for them.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth, operational execution, and guest experience.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and restaurant technology. Experience with Toast Catering & Events is preferred.

Additional Qualifications

  • Existing relationships throughout the South Florida business community are a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • This position will require some nights, weekends and holidays to support events as needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel regularly between Coral Gables, West Palm Beach, and throughout South Florida
