Technical Support Specialist

Etix is seeking a motivated, proactive Technical Support Specialist based in our Morrisville, NC office. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning, and consistently delivers results that exceed expectations. You will tackle a wide range of technical challenges across the Etix system and support third-party tools used by teams throughout the organization.

You should be comfortable managing multiple tasks at once while maintaining clear, friendly communication with both internal partners and external stakeholders.

Work location & flexibility

We operate on a hybrid schedule where employees are generally expected to work from the office four days a week, with one flexible remote day per week.

What you’ll do

  • Resolve internal tech support tickets across all departments in a timely manner
  • Set up and test client merchant accounts and payment devices
  • Construct and run database queries using Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Manage integrations between internal systems and SaaS tools (Jira, Google, Front, CyberSource, DataDome, PayConex, Slack, and others)
  • Support the initial setup and ongoing troubleshooting of client connections to the Etix API
  • Troubleshoot corporate equipment (computers, network equipment, conference room systems, etc.)
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (one week at a time), including tasks such as monitoring server load, overseeing on-sales, and responding in inter-departmental Slack channels

Preferred Experience

You do not need every item below, but you should be comfortable learning and using tools like:

  • Jira
  • SQL (including Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL)
  • Jenkins
  • Google Workspace
  • API platforms and integrations
  • Mac and PC hardware troubleshooting
