Farm Frites Australia is looking for an organised, detail-focused Agronomy Administrator to join our Potato Supply and Agri teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across agriculture, administration, procurement, logistics and finance, and who wants to play a key role in supporting the supply of potatoes from our growers through to our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate grower and supplier records, supporting contracts and purchasing, coordinating delivery and logistics administration, preparing reports and completing financial settlement activities for potato and seed potato deliveries.

The position will work closely with our Finance, Agri, Potato Supply, Production Planning and Quality Assurance teams, as well as commercial growers, seed suppliers and logistics providers.

About the role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, with a dotted-line relationship to the Potato Sourcing Manager, you will provide critical administrative and financial support across our potato sourcing activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accurate commercial potato grower and seed grower records.
• Preparing, creating and maintaining grower and seed supply contracts for processing in SAP.
• Tracking contracted hectares, potato varieties, expected yields and delivery schedules.
• Maintaining grower compliance, food safety, quality and seed certification documentation.
• Processing purchase orders for potatoes and seed potatoes.
• Maintaining accurate records of contracted and delivered volumes, pricing and contract balances.
• Supporting potato supply planning, procurement and transport coordination.
• Monitoring grower commitments against deliveries and assisting with resolving discrepancies.
• Managing the agronomy inbox and responding to administrative requirements.
• Completing accurate and timely weekly financial settlements for potato and seed potato deliveries.
• Verifying grower and supplier invoices against contracts and receival records.
• Supporting forecasting, month-end accruals, reconciliations and payment processes.
• Preparing regular reports covering contract utilisation, delivery performance, grower payments and forecast versus actual expenditure.
• Maintaining accurate records to support internal controls, audits and seasonal planting and harvest activities.

About you

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working with numbers, systems and detailed information.

You will ideally have:

• A Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in administration, procurement, supply chain or financial administration.
• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to manage data accurately and maintain effective records.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Experience in agriculture, horticulture or food manufacturing would be highly regarded, as would knowledge of potato production or seed certification processes. Experience working with growers, agricultural suppliers or logistics providers is also desirable.
