Senior Systems Engineer – Security Integration

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Security Integration to support a secure program through implementation, integration, deployment, and sustainment of security-focused system capabilities. This role is best suited for a strong systems engineer with an IA background who can work independently within a defined scope, support mission-critical deployments, and help maintain system security posture across a secure customer environment.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with privileged-user implementation, security-focused system integration, and deployment of infrastructure or hardware-related security solutions, along with the ability to coordinate effectively across engineering and program teams.

What you'll do

  • Support implementation, integration, deployment, and sustainment of security-focused system capabilities within a secure program environment.
  • Configure and support systems, devices, and infrastructure components related to information assurance and mission security needs.
  • Assist with deployment and integration of hardware- and security-related technologies across program environments.
  • Support system security posture through disciplined implementation of approved configurations, controls, and technical solutions.
  • Work with engineering, cyber, operations, and program stakeholders to support successful execution and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, integration, and implementation issues affecting security-focused environments.
  • Support use and implementation of privileged-user functions in accordance with program and customer requirements.
  • Participate in technical reviews, deployment planning, and readiness activities prior to implementation.
  • Document technical configurations, deployment changes, issues, and system impacts clearly and accurately.
  • Escalate risks, blockers, and technical concerns appropriately and in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant systems, integration, security engineering, or information assurance experience in secure technical environments.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required at time of application.
  • Experience supporting information assurance or security-focused system implementation in classified or mission-driven environments.
  • Experience with privileged-user implementation, system integration, and deployment activities.
  • Experience with security-related hardware or infrastructure components in operational environments.
  • Experience with technologies such as firewalls, guards, audit or logging-related controls, filtering technologies, or similar security infrastructure.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving integration or deployment issues in secure environments.
  • Ability to work independently within assigned scope and coordinate effectively across engineering and program stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-domain technologies, secure data transfer controls, filtering/scrubbing technologies, or guard-related implementations.
  • Experience with hardware security integration, device-level deployment, or secure infrastructure rollout activities.
  • Experience supporting classified deployments and operational transition of secure technologies.
  • Experience with audit logging, system monitoring, or security event visibility within mission environments.
  • Experience supporting system hardening, configuration control, or implementation of security baselines.
  • Experience working closely with cyber, systems, infrastructure, and operations teams in secure customer environments.
  • Experience in defense, intelligence, or other highly secure mission-critical programs.


Salary: The salary range for this role is $151,695.00- $205,233.00 per year. The salary range provided is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Four Sea Group, Inc. considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, key skills, and market conditions.
