Position Summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented End of Line Kitter to support all aspects of final material preparation and kit fulfillment operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring production jobs are accurately kitted, hardware and components are verified, shortages are identified and communicated, and materials are delivered to support assembly, packaging, and shipment activities.

The End of Line Kitter will work closely with Production, Inventory Control, Shipping, and Quality teams to ensure all required materials are available, accurate, and properly staged before final assembly and shipment. This role is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional seeking broad exposure to inventory control, material handling, and production support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Kit Preparation & Material Verification

  • Review work orders, drawings, and pick lists to identify required kit components.
  • Pull, verify, and stage hardware, components, and materials for production and shipment.
  • Ensure kits are complete, accurate, and properly labeled.
  • Verify quantities, part numbers, and revisions against work order requirements.
  • Identify and report material shortages, discrepancies, and damaged components.
  • Maintain kit accuracy and traceability throughout the manufacturing process.

Inventory & Material Control

  • Perform inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system.
  • Return unused materials to inventory following established procedures.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper material handling practices.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
  • Monitor inventory locations and report discrepancies.
  • Support material replenishment activities.

Production Support

  • Coordinate with production personnel to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Support assembly teams by delivering kits and replenishing materials.
  • Assist with prioritization of kits based on production schedules.
  • Communicate material concerns and shortages to supervisors and planners.
  • Support manufacturing flow by maintaining organized staging areas.
  • Assist with special projects and expedited orders as needed.

Shipping & Packaging Support

  • Verify kit completeness prior to packaging and shipment.
  • Support packaging activities as required.
  • Ensure customer-specific requirements are included in final kits.
  • Assist with shipment preparation and documentation.
  • Verify hardware and accessory counts before product release.
  • Maintain organized shipping and staging areas.

Quality & Documentation

  • Follow established quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records of material transactions and kit completion.
  • Verify material certifications and documentation when required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and error reduction.
  • Support internal audits and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Cross-Training & Business Continuity

  • Develop proficiency in inventory control, material handling, kitting, and shipping functions.
  • Provide backup support during planned and unplanned departmental absences.
  • Support succession planning by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of material flow operations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, bills of material, and pick lists.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or production support experience.
  • ERP system experience (M1, ECI, Epicor, JobBOSS, SAP, or similar).
  • Experience with inventory control, kitting, or warehouse operations.
  • Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience.
  • Experience reading manufacturing drawings and bills of material.
  • Knowledge of hardware identification and material management practices.
