Production Manager | Construction Operations Leader

Build exceptional projects. Lead exceptional people.

Gaspar's Design Build Remodel is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a team of Project Leads and oversee multiple high-end residential remodeling projects throughout the Greater Seattle area. We are looking for a construction professional who excels at planning, communication, leadership, risk management, and project execution. The ideal candidate understands residential remodeling deeply enough to anticipate problems, ask the right questions, and guide teams successfully.

Our projects range from approximately $50,000 to more than $2 million and include whole-home remodels, additions, historic homes, complex renovations, and architecturally significant projects. Our clients are often executives, engineers, technology professionals, and business leaders who expect a high level of professionalism, organization, communication, and accountability.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop Project Leads and field teams while creating clear expectations, accountability, and a high standard for client care.
  • Oversee 6–10 active remodeling projects representing approximately $5M–$7M in annual production, with ownership of schedule, budget, quality, staffing, and project risk.
  • Proactively solve problems, manage subcontractor performance, and ensure projects are well planned and positioned for successful execution.
  • Partner closely with Design, Estimating, Sales, and Accounting to strengthen project handoffs, constructability, and pre-construction planning.
  • Use data, planning, and continuous process improvement to increase consistency, reduce fire-fighting, and improve overall team performance.

What you bring

  • 10+ years in residential construction, including 3+ years in project management, production management, or operations leadership
  • Proven track record overseeing multiple high-end remodeling projects at once, from kitchens and baths to additions, structural work, and whole-home renovations in occupied homes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop field personnel and manage subcontractors
  • Strong command of scheduling, production planning, budgeting, and cost tracking
  • Working knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, permits, and inspections
  • Experience with contract administration and change management
  • Familiarity with older Seattle-area homes and their renovation challenges is a plus
  • Exceptional communicator with high emotional intelligence, sharp problem-solving skills, and a process-improvement mindset
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office

Is This Role Right for You?

This role is built for a leader, not a lone expert. You'll thrive here if you'd rather develop your team than be the answer to every question, verify information instead of making assumptions, and lean into difficult conversations instead of avoiding them. If you prefer last-minute heroics to thoughtful planning, or see systems, documentation, and clear communication as optional, this probably isn't the right fit.

Why Join Us?

Gaspar's has been earning Seattle homeowners' trust for over 50 years, and we're just getting started. Here you'll take on complex, rewarding projects with a strong team behind you and a real voice in where the company goes next. We're collaborative, always getting better, and we reward great work with competitive pay, solid benefits, and performance-based bonuses.
