Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc. (IBT) is a group of caring individuals whose goal is to provide children and their families with the behavioral therapy services they need to succeed. We are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves children across the state of Kansas with a focus on rural and low-income areas.
The Intensive Acute Behavioral Technician (IABT) provides direct, hands-on support to
individuals experiencing severe behavioral and mental health challenges, including aggression,
self-injurious behavior, trauma-related responses, and co-occurring (dual) diagnoses. This role
is critical in maintaining safety, implementing individualized behavior support plans, and
supporting stabilization across home, school, clinic, and community settings. The provider would have to work a minimum of 10 hours/week and the available hours that could be worked are: Mon-Fri, 3pm-7pm and Sat-Sun, 9am-4pm, but schedule can be flexible around class schedules and semesters.
The IABT works under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or
licensed clinician and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and, when
necessary, external systems such as crisis response teams and law enforcement.

● Ability to stand, move quickly, and implement physical safety interventions when
necessary
● May include home, clinic, school, or community-based settings
● Must be able to lift, block, or assist individuals as required for safety (per training and
policy)
