About the Role

The People Administrator is a key member of the People Team, helping create a positive employee experience while supporting the day-to-day People operations across ITV America. This role provides administrative and operational support throughout the employee lifecycle—from onboarding through offboarding—while serving as a go-to resource for employees and hiring managers.

This position is based in Stamford, CT and reports to the East Coast Head of People.


What You'll Do

  • Deliver a welcoming and seamless onboarding experience by coordinating new hire orientations, initiating onboarding in Rippling, and ensuring all required pre-employment documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process employee status changes and maintain employee records with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Respond to day-to-day employee questions and connect employees with the appropriate People Team resources.
  • Assist with leave of absence administration, employment verifications, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and other employee-related requests.
  • Support the administration of People programs, policies, and processes across the organization.
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other administrative activities to support accurate People data and compliance.
  • Coordinate offboarding activities and ensure separation processes are completed efficiently and in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and help the team work more efficiently.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People Team and contribute to special projects as needed.

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about Human Resources.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms or payroll systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, leave administration, or HR practices is a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience.
  • 1-2 years of work experience is a plus, but not required.


Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role is $24.04 to $26.44 per hour. As a non-exempt employee, this role is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, which may include education, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for our All-Staff Bonus Plan, subject to the rules of the plan.
