Who You Are 

As a Maintenance Technician at Kinetic, you’re a hands-on problem solver who keeps our operation running smoothly. You bring a sharp mechanical aptitude, a strong understanding of industrial equipment, and a proactive approach to preventing downtime before it happens. You take pride in troubleshooting efficiently, maintaining equipment to high standards, and tackling issues with a blend of technical skill and practical judgment. In fast-paced environments, you stay calm, organized, and focused on safety while collaborating seamlessly with production teams.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Preventive & corrective maintenance on fabrication/assembly assets (press brake, plasma/CNC, various steel fabricating equipment, compressors, etc).
  • Frequent equipment installs/moves in the first 12 months: rig, move, install and commission.
  • Diagnose mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues; basic electrical/VFD checks; simple PLC/HMI edits. (All licensed electrical work is outsourced.)
  • Create/close work orders, parts usage, and PM logs; support 5S/TPM.

Required Qualifications 

  • 3–5+ yrs industrial maintenance in heavy fab/assembly or similar.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting plus hydraulics/pneumatics; able to read prints/schematics; safe use of precision tools & lift equipment.

Preferred (but not required): 

  • NCCER Millwright, OSHA-10/30, CMRP/CRL (maintenance & reliability), forklift/LOTO trainer; basic welding a plus.

  • Hours: Full-time, day shift (5×8h preferred; 4×10h).
  • Location: Waco, Texas
  • Environment: Industrial manufacturing environment, shop floor and office.
